This policy covers our website, our emails and messages, and the videos we make for businesses.
What we collect and why

Giving us information is your choice, but without it we can't make your preview or video.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with providers that help us run Ribboncut, and only as much as needed:
- Google Workspace: our email.
- Cloudflare: our domain and website hosting. Your visits to our website pass through it.
- Notion: our team office, where we track leads, clients and projects.
- Payoneer: payments.
- FLORA, with ElevenLabs models: AI voice-over, music and sound effects.
- Anthropic (Claude): our production assistant, which helps us write scripts, build videos in code and organise projects.
- Higgsfield: generic AI-generated visual shots only. We never send it your materials, your product details or any personal data.
- Our accountant and public authorities, when the law requires it.
Your project materials may pass through these tools, never Higgsfield, while we make your video. We don't sell personal data or share it for targeted advertising.
If we contacted you first
We use public sources to find businesses that have just launched. We send at most one short personal email and one message on X or, if you're not on X, on LinkedIn (a connection request first, and our message only if you accept), each saying where we found you, and we follow up only if you reply. If you reply "no", or anything like it, we won't contact you again on any channel. We keep only your email address, X handle or LinkedIn profile, on a do-not-contact list, so that we can honour your request.
How long we keep it
- Preview requests and outreach contacts that don't lead to an order: 12 months after our last contact.
- Do-not-contact list: your email address, X handle or LinkedIn profile only, for as long as we need it to honour your request.
- Project materials: deleted within 90 days after delivery. Temporary account access ends at delivery.
- Final video and project files: up to 24 months, for fixes and re-renders, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Published testimonials and founding clients' videos: shown for 12 months from your public launch date.
- Order and delivery records: 24 months.
- Invoices and accounting records: 7 years, as Israeli tax law requires.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. We reply within 30 days. We may keep what the law requires us to keep (such as invoices) and your do-not-contact entry. If you're a founding client, the publication permission you gave in your order can't be withdrawn during its 12 months (see our Terms).
Security
Our main accounts (email, hosting and payments) use two-factor sign-in, access is limited to the owner, connections are encrypted, and client account passwords reach us only through one-time, self-destructing links and are never saved.
International transfers
We're based in Israel, and our providers store and process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. By using our services, you understand that your data will be processed there. We choose established providers that have their own security and privacy commitments.
Children
Our services are for businesses and aren't directed at anyone under 18. If we learn that we've collected a child's data, we delete it.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across websites, so browser "Do Not Track" signals change nothing on our site.
Changes
We post updates on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, we say so at the top of the page.
